Intro to Backend Development Workshop: Kanav
Kanav will be teaching the workshop. He is a junior majoring in CS and minoring in Economics, and he is currently a SWE intern working at Robinhood's privacy engineering team. Specifically, he is working on improving the user data extraction request pipeline.
Product Feasibility Workshop: Eleanor
"Come join our workshop and determine how to evaluate if your idea for a business is a viable one. We'll go over customer discovery, questiongeneration and what to do with the information you've gathered. We'll share tips for how successful startup CEOs have evaluated their many ideas and selected the best one to pursue."
Intro to Product Management: Morgan
Morgan Kang (CC’20) is a co-founder of the Data Product Initiative, which grew out of the startup LionBase, of which she is also a co-founder. Both organizations provide students with the opportunity to apply their skills in data science and product development to build intelligent solutions for modern problems. After graduation, she joined BlackRock as a business strategy analyst on a team managing a wealth advisory business of almost $2T AUM.
Morgan graduated with degrees in History and Business Management and received the Charles M. Rolker Prize, the Columbia College distinguished class award.
